High In The Alps 2006

I don’t recall the name of the village but it was way up in the mountains where the road ends in the Winter. The whole place looked like Christmas. We stayed in a chateau and I remember sitting on the balcony smoking hashish out of a toilet paper roll and being amazed at how completely silent it was.. not just quiet.. there was a complete lack of any sound. The whole trip is somewhat of a blur.. it was a blur even then. I recall walking down a frozen road to get something out of the car and thinking to myself that I would probably never see this place again.
