Vienna

Hi Everyone-we are now in Vienna-still in Austria-this is a beautiful cultural city-many museums(which we are not planning to see-BORING for a lot of them)-we are a block away from the famous Opera House in a beautiful Pension-small family run hotel-lots of antiques in this place-reminds me of grandma. We have been staying in these pensions as they are nicer we think, than lg hotels-and more reasonable. We will tour around the city tomorrow and then taking a night train to Venice-sleeping on the train all night and arriving in Venice-Italy in the morning. Venice is a very busy place-were hoping to stay 2 nights but could only book for 1 night-we might move on after 1 night or try to find another place to stay if we like it.No cars in Venice-just many canels and bridges-and gondolas. Think we will get very lost there! Wish I had my GPS-lol.
The food has been great in Austria-and we are also looking forward to Italian food soon.We went to a Starbucks Anj to get you a gift card-they don't have such a thing here but everything else looked exactly the same as in Canada. We will keep trying to find gift cards for you. There are usually Starbucks at the train stations but the last 2 places the train stations have been under construction-so we couldn't find a Starbucks-had enough trouble finding our train! Burger King is VERY big over here.
