visit to KTM
Trip to the KTM factory, great visit, cant wait to get home to order that rc8... Garmish was nice, folks were a bit how shall i say , distant. But then when i went to leave were very friendly and made it difficult to get away they wanted to talk so much.
From there i headed for the KTM factory in Austria, had a nice meeting with there PR guy Martin Schaumloeffer who gave me a personal tour around the place, including the GP and superbike workshops which are normally off limits. From there it was onto Croatia. I was holed up at an old fort ,1884 or something on those lines. It was on a little headland and connected to land by a small roadway, only found it because i was lost....nearest large town was Pula, caught the local bus service and explored the roman ruins, pretty impressive , a complete and undamaged forum, and a complete amphitheater not to mention a gateway which would not embarrass Rome.
got back to the site and drank quite a bit of red wine, (had to couldnt take it with me !)
Well there i was minding my own business drying off afetr a swim in the sea and two Germans approached with beer...it got very messy, i am
arty
i like this one, just shows how boring it can get on the autobahn now a member of a stuttgart bike club and we ate and drank until the very early hours..celebrating Englands win over Croatia amongst other things.
Ohh how my head hurt the next day....
