"An approximately five-meter-high, dynamic staircase made with 131 Bibles, built by the artist Jochen Höller, invites the visitors of the [Michaelerkirche] church to align themselves heavenward. If you look with your eyes over the bible steps into the heights of the church space, you automatically look into the baroque sky above the altar, in the center of which the Trinity is symbolized by a ray-crowned triangle. I can’t believe what a winter you guys have encountered. I am proud of you for not letting it stop you from exploring and when you do explore you hit it full force. I want to learn more about Sisi too, she sounds fascinating. The chocolate shop looked delicious and I would had a hard time leaving. Seeing the horse and carriage outside the beautiful white building reminds me of a scene from the movie Oliver. Enjoying the blog so much. ?????
