Me at Oktoberfest in Munchen
Had an awesome time at Oktoberfest ! Can't wait to go back tomorrow !
Nelson and I caught the train up to Munchen, it only took an hour from Worgl. We wandered down to Marianplatz and watched the Glockenspiel, then went shopping. I'd forgotten how good the shopping is in Munich, so many more shops than just H&M at M4 that we're used to. I managed to track down the Birkenstock shop Amanda took us to when we were there on tour, and found heaps of new Birkies I'm going to get when I go back.
We made it to the festival grounds by one, and it was so cool to see. It's like the easter show, wonderland and dreamworld all rolled into one, but even bigger. There's so many cool rides i can't wait to go on - the olympic rollercoaster has 5 loops ! We got some heart shaped gingerbread that said 'oktoberfest' that you wear round your neck like a huge pendant, and i had a pretzel that was as big as a steering wheel. We managed to track down Tori and the others in the Pig Pen in the Hofbrau house tent, and had our first stein

there. After that we went to the funky Hippodrom tent and had a stein there before making our way to the Lowenbrau tent, which is the coolest one. We had some roast chicken and another stein, and Adele and the other hotel road crew managed to track us down. We caught the train home at 9, then were up for work at 6.30am. It was such a fun day, it's going to be awesome to go up again.
