Finally managed to get Rod on the slopes and we had a fantastic trip. Stayed in a little village called Soll which is about an hour from Innsbruck. Ski conditions were great - the week before was about -20C and the week after we left hovered around -15C - while we were there it was about 5-15C which meant things got a little slushy in the afternoons but that meant an early finish from the apres ski!

My group for the week was pretty much all Irish with a token English chucked in. Rudi our instructor was fantastic and had us on the black runs by the second day which was pretty scary. Rod's group were an absolute riot and we've made plans to visit them over in Ireland later this year.
