1: Crossing the Gulf Stream, W to E 36 secs
This was taken March 24th, enroute from Lake Worth, FL to West End, Grand Bahama Island. The water is at least 2000' deep. We had a nice, easy crossing, motoring with 3 panels of the mainsail up. The total trip was less than 9 hours in daylight.

These videos are tricky for us to download, so we waited. You survived the killer conch, so this will be more serene.

Deep Water
When you said 2000ft deep that turned me off of sailing. Water that deep doesn't even have fish swimming at the suface! Those waves even look menacing.

the video shows lovely sunny weather and calm seas. Perfect!!!!! Hope you are having the time of your life you merry adventurers. must admit to being very happy for you but a little envious too. cold wet and dreary here in Perth ontario but the snow drops are up in my garden and the snow is almost all gone/. no more shoveling says she hopefully. Saw a great and funny show with wendell Ferguson on the weekend with jerry. he was roll on the floor funny. Haven't laughed so hard in ages. Big warm hugs to you both. love jude
