Today we took a day trip to another island, St. Barts. This island was only a short 45 minute boat ride away on a pretty fast boat. We met Christine before taking off who is from the USA but has been living in St. Maarten/St. Barts for over 5 years. She was very nice. She is a singer and is pretty famous on St. Barts as she seemed to know everyone. I thought she was so nice, and although she was going to meet many of her friends later that evening, she decided to show us around for the day.
The harbor in Gustavia, the biggest city in St. Barts was beautiful.....We saw a lot of really big boats. We actually saw the biggest yacht in the world which was owned by one of the richest person in the world, Roman Abromavich, who also owns some big soccer team in England that daddy says is really good. Christine took us around and showed us where Jimmy Buffet wrote "cheeseburger in paradise" about, as well shopping. I bought some really cool pink shoes and unlike most things in St. Bart, they were only 5 Euro! She then took us to this

Shell Beach, St. Barts awesome restaurant to eat lunch called the wall house. Daddy said it was one of the best meals on the trip. She then actually pointed out Jimmy Buffet getting on his boat right in front of us. (though daddy and I dont know much about him as daddy does not listen to his music). The meal was great, but the dessert was the best. I loved daddys creme brulee so much that they taught me how to ask for it in french, I asked the waiter, and got my own. Wow that was good and almost as good as the chocolate lava cake on the cruise.

A famous singer named Macy Gray was playing a free concert (paid by Mr. Abromavich) in the harbor that evening, and even though daddy and I couldnt stay for it, Christine introduced us to the back up singer and bassist who she knew.
We then headed over to shell beach which was right near the harbor. I really liked this small beach. It was full of shells and the waves were really small and fun to play in. Daddy and I had a blast. The only

with my new friend Christine problem was that Christine had to leave to meet up with some friends. We thought that we would see here again before we left, but she did not make it back in time before we had to leave for the boat. I was bummed, but was so happy that I met her and had so much fun on our day trip to St. Barts.
