hey yáll.

a quick note to let you know i have safely arrived!!! the air is hot, the city is intimidating but beautiful, and the people say buenos dias when you pass on the street. i successfully found the place where i will be staying while i am here teaching in san salvador. staying with a beautiful older couple, thier son and grandson, a japanese guy who is here volunteering as a physical therapist, and another boarder who will arrive any day now. been walking around the city today, learning the ropes a bit. taking it minute by minute. already learning so much, and have had plenty of opportunities to laugh at myself.
