Relaxing in the Lobby....

Just another lazy day in the islands

Ahhhh...St. Maarten/St. Martin. I visited this beautiful island with two girlfriends a few years back. January 2003. Since I have just dicovered this site, I must now go back through my photo logs and recall my favorite trips. This being one of them.
We stayed on the French side and as told...the water adn beach there was the amazing I had ever...and still til this day have seen. The beaches were never too crowded and the water was so warm and this transparent green/blue. The beaches are all topless until you get down to the last 1/2 mile and then It becomes a nude beach. This is the best part of the beach. Very quiet and private.....If you are comfortable with be au natural...this is the place. No one bothers you and it is a very different experience. At night the girls and I were instructed that we should take a taxi to the Dutch side ( 50 dollars one way) So , it is good to share a taxi if you can...BUT it is worth it to go see this other side of the island . The dutch know how to party with all the casinos..discos ...and great restaurants. You
