Back at Mayatan!

Just finished one week of in-service with the new English teaching staff at Mayatan Bilingual School. I'm really excited about the teachers that are here and looking forward to a fun year with all of them. On Monday we all begin teaching. This year I'll be working as an English support/resource person, helping struggling students in all grades with all aspects of English. I'm thinking it'll be a really great thing for both the school and me. 😊

Already the new teachers are finding their niche in Copàn, discovering the best (=cheapest) places to eat, get groceries, and meeting locals. This morning most of us also went on a hike up to a mountain community called La Pintada. A good workout!

Please pray for this upcoming school year at Mayatan! Pray for the teachers to have wisdom and unity among the staff!
