Having a few in San Pedro Sula
wow, two blogs in one week! What is going on? Though you may not even be aware of this because I am worried this site is still not sending out updates, so if you are reading this, tell a friend, please. More to come

My Uncle David and Pam came to visit at the end of January. I took a Friday and Monday off from work and went and met them in San Pedro Sula. It was great to see them and also a welcome break from school which seems to be more and more disappointing. They had already gone to the Ruins and saw Copan before I got there. We spent our time exploring San Pedro, its restruants and casinos. We also went to the market and they checked out the museum there.
We also went to Tela for some seafood... though they were out of lobster, much to Pam's and my disappointment, they did have conch for David, which he'd never had and I was able to suggest after having tried some of Fred's when we dined in Tela. From Tela we took a taxi who showed us around to three Garifuna villages: La Ensenada, El Triunfo de la Cruz and Tornabe. They were all along the coast.
Most of our time was spent catching up, eating good food and enjoying some good rum. We stayed in the same hotel as my folks and I and as Fred and I. I felt I was becoming quite the regular there. It was really great to see them and the brought presents! An entire case of Campbells Tomato Soup and 2 bags of York Peppermint patties... I have figured it out, from here until the time I start traveling I can have 2 cans of soup a week and 1 patty a day (this is combined with the soup we bought at the base and the patties my mom brought when she came) I am sure this is facinating to you, but you just think about what you would crave when away for over a year!! For me, this is it.
I believe David and Pams trip is the last of my visitors for awhile, unless you get a wild hair... my door is always open (literally) and I would love visitors.
