Okay, a second to breath. Sorry this is so late. I honestly haven't really had a spare moment since last Friday. And even though it is Tuesday, I am going to pretend that it is still Friday. We'll just call it Honduran time.

After a long day of final touches at school, we came home to get ready for the staff party that was going to take place at 6pm at Morgan's new bar. Well actually, its not quite a bar yet. Morgan is the high school literature teacher who has been teaching here for a couple years and recently married a honduran woman. He also recently purchased a space to turn into a bar that he hopes to have open by October. Its an absolutely beautiful open space and I'm sure we'll all be regulars 😊 Anyhow, we arrived at around 8 and had a blast eating snacks, drinking, and busting a move. The honduran staff pretty much showed us up in the dancing aspect but we definitely beat them in eating and drinking, well at least eating. Sarah and I then convinced the Honduran janitorial staff to join us at Villa Real afterwards. So off we went Sarah,

Maribel, Carla, Edna, and I.

Upon arriving at Villa Real, Maribel was warmly greeted by the woman who works in the front collecting cover. Turns out she is one of the parents of a child at EBH. With further questioning, the conclusion was drawn that that child was going to be a student in Sarah's third grade class. We were on our best behavior 😊 We had fun dancing and the rest of the group of foreign staff eventually showed up to boogie.

After the club closed, we finally got a taxi (a small feat in itself) and headed for home, shortly thereafter followed by bed. Zzzzzz.....
