Guatamala Pana and Antigua ..

after i crossed the border to Guatemala i could see the diffrences quite easly,
First the Taxis , they are a weird combination of a motorcycle and a riqshe .
the other thing is the landscape , almost an hour after we get to Guate(mala) the moutains begin
to rise and we climb higher and higer into them , at some point we were inside the clouds
at altitude of 3100 meters , in the clouds we couldnt see anything just fog , but the driver was driving
preety fast for my taste ..
in the clouds we were delayed for about an hour becuase of road work , they only have one lana
each direction and the heavy mechines were working on both .

After i got to Panachechel i thought its a nice place but i was soon to discover its not that great .
I still cant determin what cuased me to spend the next and a half on the toilet but it was definitly caused
by the Guata kitchen , After two days in Panachcehl i left to Antigua whice is a very beuatiful city
very similer to San Cristovel in Mexico , but with a small diffrance , the food ..
In Antigua i slept at a private family house , the mother seems to be that manager there and
we called it Eillovie casa (house of Eillovie), anyhow we were six students there , all learning spanish
and i was with a guy from Franch i meet on the bus from Panachchel to Antigua .
What we didnt know when we came to Antigua is that it was Semana Santa (the holy week before Pasch in chirtianity) ,
so prices went up , and insted of paying 25Q for night they wanted 100Q for night ..
so it was cheaper for me to sign for Spanish school then to stay in a hostel ..
point is , everyone in Casa Eillovie were sick and everyone in Antigua i met were sick and it was
very hard to learn like it ..
In Antigua in semana santa they have something called Possasions whice is like a big stage with
a reanaction of sceanes from Jesus life , death and resuraction .
Every day diffrent , and this crazy people do it from 8 or 10 in the mornings somedays till 3-5
in the morning !! and people carry it on thier backs no cars carrying it , AND they fire some
really strong firecrackers , whice sound to me more as a bomb then as a firecracker ..
the first possassions were nice but after two three days it got quite annoying , espacilly in
the good friday whice was like the biggest possassion and the streets were FULL with people in a way you couldnt
cross a street no matter how hard you try ..

In Antigua i had the Seder , it was the craziest seder ever , about 200 Israelians were there in Antigua
for the seder most to all of them dont care much for the religion and they only came for the fun
so every few minutes someone else went to smoke and on top of that the rabbies were a little crazy as well
they started a singing contast between the tables there who sing the Agada loadest .

one of the things to do in Antigua is go to Papaya Volcano , whice is an active volcano , so i went there
But , on the day i went there it didnt stop rainning for a second , they all told me its ok , even
people who were there a few days before , it rains but at some point you go over the coulds
and theres no rain anymore . that was my hope , only it didnt happen .
On that day it rained even on the top !! whice was quite a weird experiance , from one side im
all wet and cold , from the other side its burning hot from the volcano heatwaves ..
and on top of that we didnt see a thing , becuase the rain meeting with lava immidiatly vaporaised
whice lead to no visability ..
On the top we also had Marshmelos , cooked with the volcano lava ...
