Guatemala - Flores & Tikal

There was a Direct Shuttle from Semoc Champey to Flores that left in 5am and cost about 15$ of course i was lazy to wake up in these hours and to cheap to pay 15$ (thats crazy you can cross Guatamala twich with 15$) so i woke up around 9 and toke the 10 bus in the direction of Cobañ , i wasnt planning to get there only go on the road and somewhere switch to Flores bus .

Bus no 1 Semoc Champey to Lanquin .
now Lanquin is very close to Semoc only 15km maybe less but about an hour drive and when i asked the driver if his direct to Cobañ the fucker said he is , and when we got to Lanquin he just stopped and throw my bags on the floor and said ok last stop and wanted me to pay him .
now there was quite an argue there but in the end i paid half price and waited for other bus to Cobañ .

Bus no 2 Lanquin to Cobañ
Of course i told the driver i dont want to go to Cobañ only to an intersection i can switch to Flores , of course he didnt stop there and i got to Cobañ .

Bus no 3 Cobañ to ... somewhere ..
When i asked for flores they all said take this one to Saycha , i asked if its direct they said sure .. after two hours of driving he stop somewhere on a gas station and said you see this bus take it to Saycha .. i was really pissed by now ..
price asked at first 40Q price bargined 30Q price paid in the end 20Q

Bus no 4 somewhere to Saycha .
This one didnt lie , we got to Saycha , but around 6pm and they told me now chance of getting a transportation in this hour to Flores .. so i asked him to drop me in a cheap hotel and he drop me in a place where he said about 10-15Q a night , when i cheaked in he asked for 50 , now it wasnt the first time i was told diffrent price but this was the first time i bargined for a hotel price , after taking a quick look in the logbook of the hotel i saw 30 as lowest price so i talked to him and got 30 per night .. sleeping time .
price 25Q+30Q per night

In Saycha i was sleeping with :
Frogs & Coakrouches .

Bus no 5 Saycha to Santa Elana .
In the morning i woke up around 9 and went to the direction of the bus to flores but there was a river in the middle , to cross it i had to pay 2Q whice is night but only for 30seconds bout across the river .
on the other side there were buses to Santa Elana , when i asked flores they said Santa Elana then flores .. so i went to Santa Elana .
Price 2Q+30Q

TocToc no 6 Santa Elana to Flores .
The distance between Santa Elana and Flores as i were to learn later is only about 700m , whice is the distance of the brigde between the Island Flores and the Mainland city Santa elana , when i asked the driver of the bus how much is it he told me 5Q when i asked the TocToc driver how much is it he said 15Q so i told him no no ! 5Q they he thought for a minute and said .. ok .
Finelly , in Flores !

total price 139Q (-+ 18$)
This was the only time i paid more for a transportation in my trip than offred in a privete shuttle .

In flores i was in a Bueatiful and relaxed hostel that was just opened a week before i got there and was a big room with mattresses on the floor each had a vent , a tv , a small lamp and was cover in the sides with curtains .. food there was really good and cheap becuase it was like a family bussiness and we were playing with thier cute kids most of the time .

Flores itself is a tiny peacefull Island , it toke me about 15 minutes to circule it on the road around it and it belongs to the small union of places that have more hotels& resterunts in it than privte houses .. i spent about 2 days just jumping to the water and back and then left to Tikal .

Tikal is the biggest Mayan ruins ive seen it has a lot of very tall temples you can climb on and George Lucas filmed the jedi rebal base there !

I camped a night there with my new tent i bought in the Kmart in the states !
But the first time i opened the tent , the first time i built it , it was closed with the zippers .
i opened them and less than a friction of a second later i already had a fucking mosquido inside !!!! damn tents made in Chine comes with a built in mosquido inside !!!

I met an Isrealy there and we were traveling in Tikal together , he was lacking of ciggarets , but had rolling papers and some .. , i had some (ciggarets) but i didnt have rolling papers , so after about an hour we were rolling and smoking ..

There was a tour in 4:30 in the morning the thing in Tikal is to see the sunrise there, we asked the people there to wake us up and we both set alearm clocks , but none of us woke up , around 5 i woke up woke him up and went to the park to look for the tour , now the thing is , you couldnt get into the park before 6 only with the tour , so we had to bribe alittle the security guards there (fuckers) and got in , we found the tour there and it was full with Crazy Israelians i met in Mexico , the Timani from the Seder was there and got pictures of him nude on the top of the temples there ... we were all laughting ..
