oh yes, we made it through the costums and into cuba, even though i (hilde) got stopped and had to empty my purse completly, and the poor lady had to look at all my crap.
Anne M has finally delivered her paper, on time, and even though we got held up one extra day in La Habana because of that, we can't complain, cause Havana is very nice in it's own special way. we love the old cars, hate the old (poopy) smell. still warm, all the old skin is peeled off, and we're ready for some cuban beaches, colonial Trinidad, and cigars...

in trinidad they have the best perserved and nicest colonial houses in cuba.. and it was nice, and not as worn as in la habana

great breakfast in our casa before we went to the beach... great food, great people ( 3 generations Alberto)

we rented a little hut for 2 dolalrs, spend the whole day there, borrowing a paddle boat, almost getting ourself stuck on a reef, cause magga wanted to see some birds out on a rack ( logically on the reef..) a great day though.

along the way back to la habana, you can buy anything you want, a big fish, a whole-grilled pig, whatever...
