• Arrive in Liberia at 9:00pm
• Immediately shuttle to Monteverde (3hrs)
• Stay 3 nights (explore cloud forests)



Jan 2nd


• Shuttle to La Fortuna (taxi-boat-taxi, 3hrs)
• Stay 4 nights (explore Arenal Volcano and area)



Jan 6th


• Shuttle to San Jose (3hrs) with a quick stop at Paos Volcano (+2hrs)
• Stay 1 night in San Jose



Jan 7th


• Domestic flight to Drake Bay
• Stay 4 nights in Drake Bay (explore tropical rain forests)



Jan 11th


• Domestic flight to Tamarindo
• Stay 3 nights (relax on the pacific coast, maybe surf?)



Jan 14th


• Taxi to Gulf of Papagayo (1hr)
• Stay 2 nights (absolute R&R at a small beach resort)



Jan 16th


• Taxi to Liberia airport (20min)
• Fly out at 2:00pm
• Stay 1 night in Detroit (ouch!)



Jan 17th


• Arrive in Ottawa around 12:00pm
