Function over fashion
As soon as we stepped outside into the city of San Jose Freya struggled to comprehend our apparent ability to attract friendly but undeniably weird individuals, after being serenaded in the park by one chap, and invited to our first costa rican experience: a soccer game (declined) by another.

Despite weather warnings, and the majority of the trail being closed due to a police search we headed to Poas volcano. The cloud, in the cloud forest made seeing the volcano a bit difficult, infact impossible...shame that we were stuck there for four hours, waiting for the bus. Despite this we all enjoyed a break from the city and are looking forward to Montverde zip wires, coffee tours and some snakes.
