This little guy was showing signs of malnutrition, (note the sunken eyes and ribs) yet still was friendly and approachable. He would have made a fantastic family pet, too bad that will not be his fate.

This little cutie on the surface looked healthier than the first puppy I encountered at the entrance to the Lankaster Botanical Garden. This puppy exhibited no aggressive behavior, and again, would have made an excellent family pet.
