Waterfall and un loco tico!!!

This week we have been busy studing, but we do find a little time to do some hiking and hanging out. Last night Lucas played futball (soccer) with a bunch of locals, it was the locals versus the tourists and Lucas scored two goals, but, needless to say, the locals killed the tourists. During the daytime we went for a hike up to see a waterfall and visited a crazy tico named nano. He lead us around his property and we played in the trees, swinging from vines and hanging like monkeys. When we were at the waterfall Lindsay fell down and hurt her knee on the rocks, but is fine now. Class is going good, but it is very difficult to remember all the grammer and sentence composition. Hopefully by the end of our stay here we will be able to get by knowing the basics in communication. Lindsay feels like she is in the movie groundhogs day. Everyday here is the same, interms of the weather. It is very sunny in the morning and around 1 to 2 oclock it gets cloudy and rains, then at night the skys are clear. This morning lucas went over to a tico´s house by the name of Adrian. There they made fresh squeezed orange juice and he brought some back to the hostel to share. To night one of the ladies at the hostel is going to make everyone at the hostel tamales for dinner. She, Diana, is our motherly figure here. We are interested to here what you all are up to so Lindsay is demanding that you leave some messages. Miss you all, hasta luego.

I was worried that my disconnected and irrelevent comments were boring to you guys on your life experience escapade, but if you want more....I got it!!! School is great, life is great, it is rainy as hell, and I might have to build a bridge from the parking lot of my apartment complex to my front door due to the heavy rains and clogged drains. I love you two, and by the way, not a bad place to get stuck in a groundhog day type situation. Caroline

Nano has the same smile as Jack from the Shining. I'm glad that you two are having fun down there. I like your pictures, except the spider one. That spider was looked big and hairy.
