Braids and DreadsBraids and DreadsBraids and Dreads

Here Cass and I have our hair done, me with the braids (just took them out a few days ago, were starting to dread) and Cass with the dreads, which she took out a week later.
Hey All!!!

Well well well, i cant believe we leave the country tomorrow, how can three months go by so fast...not so fast that i havent fallen in love with this country, the people, the places, the experiences-these are things I will hold onto for a lifetime, life here runs a few noches slower than the rest of the world, you feel so alive and happy here, and low stress is good for the soul 😊

So i will endevour to put up the last of the Costa Rica photos from the last few weeks, since i last updated, we have spent a week in the carribean at a beach towwn called Puerto Viejo which was very cool, got myself some braids, see pics...lost my credit card..Oops!!...had funky week, sleeping in hammocks and chilling out, Rasta styles 😊..never got to the Limon festival, got on the bus to go there and got stopped at passport police block and got chucked off cause we had (naturally) left them locked up in the hostel..wat the??, so we decided it was fate and none of us were too bothered...the only negative of the week was the hightened crime, everyone had a story

This was our bedroom for the week in the Carribean..hammocks all around..though was always scared i would fall out!!
to tell and soon we had our own...Mia and I were walking back from a club and she had her bag ripped from her shoulder by some bastard, then he was threatning us and stuff, luckily he wasnt armed..poor girl she took it really well, but after that i wouldnt leave the hostel with anything of value and my hackles were raised, especially when we heard that 2 weeks ago an american girl was shot dead through the heart at the bar we were always at...but cant be paranoid, it was great fun, especially with ladies night, which was free cocktails for an hour..nice, its good to be a girl!!

From there we headed back to the pacific side, to Jaco which is quite big and commercial, but really like the vibe, met some wicked people at the hostel and spent a night there...wasnt enough but anywayz, from there we went to Santa Teresa again, hehe cant get enough of that place, and was so amazing to be back amongst friends, its quite an amazing feeling to be so acccepted by a town. Unfortunately it rained constantly which left jo and I chomping on the bit a little, Santa

Stayed at Rocking J´s, all covered in Mosaics and hammocks wherever you looked..very funky!
Teresas great because of the beach and people but with the torrential rain the beach wasnt really an option...so Jo and I left just over a week after arriving, however Cass decided she wanted to stay and not come with us to Ecuador straight away, so we left her there for an extra month and she´l meet us later.

Jo and I went back to Jaco and had really fun times with the guys there, some Canadian fire fighters..mmmm.´(hot)..and a guy that was still there from last time, Jason who is a columbian, born and bred in USA (seems such a waste!!), and we got on really well so its been good times had by all in the last few days. Left this morning for the capital San Jose, where we are safely in a hostel awaiting our flight out tomorrow morning.
So the journey continues...spending the next 2.5months in two sister sanctuaries, first in the Andes and then in the Amazon. Cant wait to get my teeth back into some work, hopefully they live up to our expectations 😊

So hopefully as always this finds you all in good health and spirits...if not come to Costa Rica..pure
