Costa Rica Backpackers
My first hostel with a great view of the Justice Building. After getting my bag late Monday morning I decided to go to Manuel Antonio the next morning. While waiting at the Coca Cola station I met some great Germans, Miriam and Martin, who were going to the same destination. The weather has been great, the food has been great, and the sights have been great. The first two days were spent at the beach and lounging around taking in the sights. Today we the Mangrove tour in hopes of seeing monkeys (which seem to be around most places), crocodiles and sloths. Our guide is a fun guy who gave the tour while taking sips from his whiskey and taking short naps on the longer stretches of water. We saw great things, but no crocs or sloths. We looked long and hard.
This morning, while sitting around drinking coffee and checking out the view. We all decided to make a run for Panama. I am pretty certain that it is Thursday night at the moment and so we should be in Panama by Saturday. Tomorrow morning we will take at bus from Quepos to San Jose and from San Jose to Puerto Viejo. Bocas del Toro, Panama the next day.
Manuel Antonio
A small little playa with minimal tourists. After the bag came to me, my mood improved and everything has been good since. By Wednesday I felt I found the groove.
