Nicoya - Osa Peninsula

We left the Nicoya Peninsula and headed south towards the Osa Peninsula. We found a lovely Airbnb to stay at in the ocean side town of Golfito. Samara to Golfito was a 7.5 hour drive according to google maps. Google is not always correct - the road conditions often add a lot of time to these drives. Even the small ones are magestic. The cool spray I was standing in was very refreshing. It was 38 degrees and humid for our hike.

Our only wildlife spotting (aside from a couple butterflies and a bird or two) I the Golfito wildlife reserve

Shortly after we discovered a ton of beatle husks attached to all these plants around us. Very creepy.
