Happy New Year and welcome to 2014: the year of the Mer-man! I hope everyone enjoyed some vacation time and is making great strides with their new year's resolutions...or at least resolved to laugh at how preposterous they seem now. Let's just agree that this has the potential to be a rad year, regardless of what we envisioned while wearing our New Year's Eve goggles. It's certainly started off with a bang for many of us. Since the last update there's been a lot of action out here in theCaribbean. Since I’m staying in Guatemala longer than 90 days I need to go out of the country so that I can start my 90 days over again or I could go to Guatemala city and renew it…. but that’s just not fun at all! So I decided on Belize. I didn’t know what I was getting into when I signed up. All I knew was that our food and lodging was included in the price.
