ZEYA Well, he has no Myanmar roots...his mum named him Zeya, because it was short for IZEYA...he only knew his name was Myanmar when a friend told us about it! What a co-incidence huh?
looks fitting good to hear that you are settling well in burma. you are certainly fit with the folks and fellow vonlunteers over there. they looks like those 'yao yeng' guai lous that you have been 'bla bla' about while back in our mamak days.

thanks guys Today is my last day at work..you cannot believe how joyful it felt to be released from this endless cycle of work, pain and TGIFs! I'm finally digging my heel into my travelling dreams. Ben and soup, you guys have been extremely supportive. Thank you!

that fear is unfounded. there is just so much more out there and as you take your first tentative steps into an unknown joy, you will soon see people, once you get past the cultural bits, are the same everywhere - they eat, rest and excrete.
the comfort zone will still be there when you return - its not going anywhere. you, however, will return with a lung full of fresh air.
the connection is made with nothing more than a simple smile.

Have freed myself from the evil clutches of the corporate world. Used to be a boring old PR Consultant who wished that everyday is an MC day.
Now, it's the end of limitations and the beginning of infinite possibilities.
Hopefully after my travels,I'd land myself a less rigid job that encourages creativity and spontaneity. Someday, I'd love to own a jazz bar by the beach or do social work in less developed countries.
I love travelling, reading and meeting people. Good music turns me on as well.
