Recommended Restaurants Hello,
Just fell upon your post as my husband and I are heading to St. Remy today. I always love to eat upon a recommendation from a local. Please send any special resataurants or eateries.
Merci!

SO many great places! For French cuisine, Cuisine de las Anges. For casual dining, Cafe de la Place and the pizza place across the road from there in the corner is good to eat in or take away. We enjoyed the creperie in Rue Lafayette, near the big Catholic Church. It has a terrace out the back and that was one of our best meals. Just wander and try them all! We loved St Remy!

Gae and Charlie, Ted and I, went to Iona in 1987 - stayed at a gorgeous B&B and had THE BEST SALMON there. Mrs Black's B&B. It was the first run of the season - and nothing can compare with that meal. Abbey so much atmosphere. Walks beautiful. Make sure you visit the green beach. I picked up a green rock in the shape of a foot - I called it St. Columba's foot, and still have it. Brought back lots of green stones for UNOH. Would love to spend more than three nights there. ENJOY THE ABBEY. Love May
Wow! What a massive day! Crossing cultures & languages & some of the busiest stations in the world... phew! Au revoir France... hello Scotland. Glad you arrived safe. I’m enjoying following along through your blog & photos! Xxx
Quelle aventure! Read your post, and I am very happy that everything is getting back into order. What a scare! I hope you will be back on your feet very soon and go back on your trip where you left it. Funny nurses trying to practice their english behind the door and pushing each other to talk to you :-)).

Happy to accompany you Just been looking around Lourmarin on street view on Google Earth. Enjoyed wandering down Rue Albert Camus and some other beautiful streets. A tew attractive eateries I would like to drop in to.
Street views of Lourmarin We did a lot of looking too before we came and as we walk around we see things we feel we already know! It’s definitely a feast for the senses.
We love to travel, especially to Europe. Between us, art, history, cathedrals, gardens and culture are our interests and we never seem to run out of things to do and see. We are committed to independent budget travel, using public transport and meeting new people along the way and some our best experiences have been unplanned! Peter is a visual artist and I am a retired educator, and these days we can travel when we choose. It is such a long way from Australia to Europe that we like to have plenty of time to turn our bodies around and then enjoy the trip. We have three married children and nin... full info
