Still a little bitter... about the whole Bran thing, that is. I'll survive though.
Oh Ernest! Your blog makes me wish I had a chance to see way more of Romania than I did. We skipped out on Bucharest so we could spend more time in Serbia, which I can't really say I regret.
I'll be returning to Eastern Europe this summer, but this time to stay! I insist that we take some time to travel together, or at the very least you'll come visit me.
Your crazy American friend,

nice Well since this blog is written in english, I might as well comment on it in english.
Thanks Ernest! For writing so many nice and witty things about Slovenia. I can see you did some history research about places you visited (or did Jasmina tell you all that stuff;)
Greetings

Good job Ernest :-) Great description! I have to comment on this entry since I also took part at this workcamp. I have to say that this camp was one of the best things I ever did! Turkish people were so warm and kind to us and Turkey fascinated me with its culture, lifestyle and landscape (Black Sea coast most of all). Turkey is one of those countries I fell in love with instantly which, I think, will make me a very frequent visitor there :-)
Greets to you Ernest and to all kind Turkish people!!!
Such a great feeling as a Turkish:) wooww.. what an adventure!! I felt myself like doing this jurney by "myself". very nice observations.. hope to c u here in Turkiye again soon;)
