Europe » Hungary » Central Hungary » Budapest May 24th 2023

After the recent holiday to Hong Kong with the kids, it was time to sneak away for a little off-beat boys trip to Central Europe. The general idea was to visit countries that are often overlooked while still getting enough time in each country. Day 1: Land in Vienna in the morning, finish immigration and car rental formalities. We pit stop at Parndorf Outlet mall enroute to Bratislava, Slovakia (https://goo.gl/maps/ZP4L9kLuS1K5jKd96). The Parndorf Outlet mall is massive, with separate buildings for fashion & luxury. After a quick walk thru, we head on to Bratislava for lunch. While we didn't have time to visit the Bratislava Castle, we did visit the Presidential Palace, strolled around the main square and popped into a quaint restaurant called Bratislava Flagship (https://goo.gl/maps/cK1Bq... read more

Kowloon is further divided into districts such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok etc. Starting at Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) and going north, the area gets cheaper and sketchier. Typical hotel rooms in TST start at 15k and goes down to 10k in Jordan and 8k in Mong Kok. Hotel rooms are also ... read more

Middle East » United Arab Emirates » Dubai June 5th 2022

Dubai was a country we frequently had a layover while traveling between the US and India. While we had the misconception that Dubai was all about shopping and malls and was extremely hot, we were pleasantly surprised with the abundance of family friendly options in the city and neighboring areas. Below is our day-by-day itinerary for 10 days in Dubai with kids (aged 10 & under) Day 1: Landed in DXB and took a cab directly to Legoland Resort, located in Dubai Parks and Resorts Day 2: Full day at Legoland Dubai. We received free entry passes because we stayed at the Legoland resort. If you haven't stayed at Legoland Resort in the past, it is definitely worth doing it atleast once. It was our second time, the first being in Malaysia. Both our girls are ... read more
