Concerned Again Hi Paul,
I was just beginning to relax about your adventure so far from home, and your Mom told me about your intentions in Kenya. Your second mother is concerned, but afraid I am sending this note after you have gone. I pray that you have a wonderful time, but that you are very careful and smart on your trip to Africa....holding my breath until we hear from you again! Love, Margaret

STS9 oh oh oh, Sat. was awesome. Went to see the 5th and final night os STS9 at Boulder Theatre. we had some good L and a great time at Jon and Suzan's in Boulder and then I talked everyone into eating some mushrooms and drinking all day on Sunday!! Sacralicious - Whoo hoo! Party time! I only wish every Sat. and Sun. could be that exciting (minus the slow brain for a day or two)
Whats up Paul. I pretty much raged st Patricks day, Vogl had a rager and we got drunk as skunks. You missed some shitty ice skiing over spring break, I went four times and the ice kicked my ass. Im still recovering five days later. You sound like your havin a great time, me and dan are planning a trip to the Galopagos and we'll probably swing by and grab you before we go. We watched some discovery channel and decided we have to go, but first we have to rob a bank or something for the funds. I'll let you know when it goes down. Anyways you keep raging that place and stay away from those killer Box Jellyfish (saw that on Discovery too) they kill within 2 minutes. I got class but on your next transmission let me know when you think you'll come back to sivilization. oh ya and were going to 3 nights of cheese this weekend you loser, even though you probly wouldn't of gone anyway. your buddies dan and sloth
YO! What I did on saturday Night......uhm NOTHING! I am sick and I am on the couch. That is awsome that you got an internship. I want to see pictures of giraffs and hippos when you go to Kenya. Are you picking up on any language that they speak. (whatever it is that they speak) Thanks for letting me know you were alive. I was looking at old pictures the other day and you were in them...of course. Crazy times. Well WHEN you get back I want you to come and visit me and bring Stevo and then I want to go and float down the river. I have no idea when I am going to be able to go home. I am starting a job this week and I am going to take summer school. I told this stupid thing to send me an e-mail every time you wrote something but it doesn't. I am kind of upset about it. Okay I think that is it for now. I know you are having a great time so just keep me updated!

Hey Paul! Sounds like you are having an awesome time! Can't wait to see all your pictures and hear even more details when you return. Be careful (I sound like your mother!) and keep the blogs coming! BTW, Richard is so jealous when he sees these pictures and reads of your adventures he can hardly stand it! And on the home front, Laura is now expecting her second baby - hard to believe! Your mom was playing with Kate (our first grandbaby) and I think David is right. Watch out!
Ocean Man Hey sorry i havent gotten in touch with you yet... it sounds like you're haven yourself a good time from what mom and dad have said. congrats on your 100th dive, im jealous, it sounded like it was a glorious benchmark among dives. All your photes have been awesome, i especially liked the close-up of Hector, drooling with a mouth-full of cabbage. I've missed snowboarding with you, but fortunately for you, you arent missin out on too good of conditions. I get my cast off in a few days and am excited to go rock climbing and flyfishin with you when you get back. Anyways i hope you are doing well and making friends with the lil turt hatchlings. Well i gotta get back to studying, i have a calculon 3 exam tommorrow unfortunately. Take care paul, you are missed. - Craig
Stay a safe distance from the stingrays, etc. Hi Paul -- It is good to hear that all is going well for you on the other side of the world. The pictures are great, and everything is beautiful! Of course, I prefer the pictures of the gorgeous sunset to the spider pictures (...and the cliff jumping....). Stay safe and thanks for sharing your adventure. Love, Margaret
YO! Love the pictures of you on the cliff...you can really see the beauty of the water! Glad to hear you didn't let drinking take away a fun adventure! I miss you, stay safe!

Hey Paul! Paul,
Too cool! It looks like you're in paradise...very nice. I know you and your crew have your work cut out for you and lots of duties, but what a neat experience....not to mention that place looks gorgeous. I'm officially jealous!
I just spent my last week in the hospital for some sort of intestinal infection...it was about as unpleasant as it sounds. Fortunately, I felt better in time for my birthday party/dinner held at Chewey's(spelling?) with about 35 of my close friends and family. Your mom joined us for the dinner and it was nice having her there....she got to visit a little with a few of my friends and play with one of their babies....it was nice and everyone had a good time. Although, the way your mom was hogging(she would hardly share) and playing with that baby got me thinking that she wants to be a grandmother sometime soon...haha....I don't know if anyone is really ready for that. Anyway, I have a lot to catch up on from the last week that I missed.....and not really looking forward to it but it is one of those things that has to be done. I'm real behind at work especially...you wouldn't think it with coaching tumbling, but where I'm a director of the tumbling program, there is so much paper work/organizing and phone calls and making up private lessons that I missed....I work one of those jobs that really stinks to miss.
Well, I'm excited for you and am glad that you get this experience. I look forward to your future travelblog updates. Be thankful, you are one in few that get to experience Seychelle-like adventures.
So, take care and I will chat with you later,
David
we miss you whats up paul, great to hear from you. That island sounds really fun I wish I was there. I couldn't get your pictures to work, I might just be retarded. Any ways I have to go to class not go diving in the ocean you ass. well keep us informed and I wanrt some pics
Watch out for sharks and such. SLOTH
Lean mean, diving machine It sounds like you will shed a few pounds on this 1/2 way around the world adventure....between costly beer, a veggie diet ( the horror of lentils), and all of the physical exercise. You may return to Colorado and be at a physical peak to do your technical rock climbing.
All the best. Keep those photos coming. A picture is worth a 1000 words
Good to hear from you Paul. The Seychelles look sick man, I am sure it was not to hard to become accustomed to island life, I am totally jealous. I certainly have not had any problem getting used to mountain life in Tahoe, besides the fact that there is less snow then there has been in years, still have got a few sick days. Enjoy your time out of the country, you won't want to come back to the states, trust me. I am already planning my next trip to South America. Take it easy man and hope to see you out here in March when it is dumping! Peace
WOW Paul this all sounds AMAZING! This is a wonderful and perfect experience for you! I am happy to hear from you! Keep those pictures coming...everything looks so beautiful and pristine I wish I was there. I miss you and have fun and stay safe!
