Great as always Mike, I might have to put Phi Mai on my list of places to go and see....I have really enjoyed reading about your adventures... Til the next time ;) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you too x
You can't stop now! It's so lovely to hear about you and your life, and helped by the photos it's like a film in my head! I'm sure you could periodically add a little update... Pleased to hear about th house sale, you were lucky I think although the market has picked up, great that it sounds as if it's gone to people who really really want it! Love and best wishes to you from a very wet uk.
Thank you 'Marg Evans" It's been a real joy to get your messages Margaret, thanks for your support.
I'll see what I can find to natter about in the future. Keep dry, Mike
Its you! Hey Mike. when I got the first notification i wondered who was sending me a travel blog ex UK. Now I understand. Good to hear from you although maybe you've finished blogging now, now that you're back in Thailand. Sounds as though you eventually got things sorted out at "home" and can settle in Thailand in a more established frame of mind. Do hope you get this and that you will keep me on your list. Would really enjoy catching up with you on a face-to face basis when convenient. I still keep in touch with both the MTT and Chamchuri branches and the people involved occasionally and seem to get warm welcomes.Of course hardly anybody I know at MTT just Bill and Patrick. Had dinner at Pinnochio with Patrick and his partner a couple of weeks ago. Good to see him socially.
Have you retired now? Trust the motorcycling goes well.
Hey to you too Chris, Thanks for reading the blog and thank you also for contacting me.
I have one more blog to go on this trip, so nearly done. I'll be up country for Christmas, but we must meet for sure in 2016.
Take care and see you soon, Mike
Love it! Morning! As another of your friends says, you are a very good writer. This is very evocative, more please! Also please send me Tony's contact details if you can, I'd love to say hello to him.
Great Read Mike, this was a pleasure to read. you have a great way with words and you make the reader feel like he/she is there.. I laughed at the bit when you went down the up escalator.. I think I might want to try that.
When I received the email to tell me this blog had been updated I wasnt sure whose it was but when I realised it was your good self, I was happy to read your first post about your trip. Sounds like a wonderful moment when you are your daughter were re-united. Will look forward to the next one
I decided to write this blog because most people, understandably, write about leaving home to start an adventure; whereas this blog is concerned with going home. I come from England, but I've been living and working in Thailand for around 7 years now. Most of the writing will be about England so sorry, if you've been misled by the Bangkok location. However in order to even things out, I intend to conclude this blog with my return to Bangkok and to include some information and pictures of Thailand which may be of interest to those of you who have not been there.
I've never written a blog bef... full info
