Treasure Hunting in Penang, Malaysia We are a group of college students who are assigned with a project on Malaysian culture and we had decided to study Penang, one of the Malaysian states which has well-blend of different customs and races. We have visited many of the place included the largest temple in the Penang, the Temple of Supreme Bliss, Kek Lok Si. It's the the temple which blend with Mahayana Buddism with Taoist belief & other chinese rituals. Since 1927, it becomes one of the landmarks of the Penang. The main attractions of this temple are the Pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas (Wan Fo Bao Ta) and the giant bronze statue of Kuan Yin. The entrance fee for the Pagoda is RM2 per entry.
