Tea and Crumpets Devonshire cream and preserves on scones with afternoon tea, are you fat on trifle yet? I imagine you both wearing sun hats and sipping tea from gold rimmed white china with your pinkies extended discussing how nice the Queen looked at her UN address. I also, for some reason, imagine you both close to 80 years old in this scenario. Regardless, I'm glad you two are having fun and experiencing so much. Take advantage of what time you have left. I miss you guys.

Patrick
Hello Can't you just see ole grammy walking up that hill to Edinburgh Castle - I thought I was going to die before I got to the top (I was still smoking at the time) but what a grand view from the top it was. Is that where you can see the Firth of Forth? I really loved the castle because I've always been interested in Mary Queen of Scots. In fact, when we were in the Dales in England we ate and toured Bolton Castle where she was held a prisoner there by Elizabeth I. So much history and great places to visit. Have you seen a Scotsman in a kilt yet? BTW - if you haven't already bought the purse - never mind - just save your money and buy you some more scones and clotted cream! We love you and miss you so much. Every once in a while - grandpa says "I miss my girls." Where are you off to next - Liverpool? Is that where Jack Dawson got on the Titanic? I can't remember. We send our love and it sounds as if you are really having a great time. I'm glad. xxooxxoo
haha, well Dad I have tennis shoes. But naturally, I can't wear them if they don't fit the outfit! Just kidding, I just didn't expect to be walking as much as we have been, so I didn't put them on. Steph is wearing hers and she's fine.
Love you Big D!
Hi girls,
Your mother and I naturally worry about you over there, so glad to hear you are being safe. Yes B, you need some good tennis shoes, that is the only way to get rid of the shin splints. Hope you enjoy London. Don't forget the Tower of London.
Love you,
Dad
Just stopping by to say hi Hi cositas de tia Umbe! I am enjoying reading your blog.... keep writing, and if you can post some pictures!
Continue having fun and stay safe. My God follow you and I pray that your Guardian Angels protect you in your journey.
Luv ya!
Hey, we were there for just a bit, but we were tired and left early. We'll be in Dublin for the next two days and again on the 3rd. We're interested in that trip, but we have to get to our hostel first, if we can find it. We'll be at the Camden Hall hostel.
Hey Grammy, Steph is feeling better, and they don't sell Benadryl here. But we've got the next best thing which has helped my eyes more than they have Steph's cold. Right now, we're in Killarney and headed to Dublin early tomorrow morning. After that, we'll be on our way to Glasgow. I've seen a few painted sheep, but I had no idea what it meant. Thanks for the info! Love to you and G'pa from the both of us.
I looked up Galway on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place. Also there was a picture of the Cliffs of Moher and you are right they are fantastic looking. Looks a little bit like the White Cliffs of Dover. One reason you two are tired you are probably still jag lagged and in a few days you should be caught up with the time difference. It looks as if you two are taking advantage of tours - that's the best way to see things. I'm sorry Steph is not feeling well - do they sell Benadryl over there? Where are you heading to next? I'm so glad you are keeping a blog. We send our love and prayers for a safe and fun trip.

Blog I think your blog idea is great and I've enjoyed your comments. Yes, that's one of the things that struck me when I first went to England - the countryside was so green! Have you seen any "painted" sheep? That's how the farmers can tell their flock from the others - they put a dab of paint on their backs.
