Paid off
Although this may seem frustrating now, you and Ernest will be able to look back on this one day and laugh. And, if ever in doubt about the marriage, remember how much ya'll went through to make that special day happen. After all, if the both of you can deal with all that drama, then the marriage is definately meant to be.

Great picture!
Y'all have a WONDERFUL time! Glad everything has worked out for an "official" legal wedding, besides all the romantic stuff, that was going to happen regardless!

Pig snouts are good Southern food
Principal ingredient in souse. The pig is a marvelous animal. Virtually no part is inedible. May the eyes.

Thanks
thanks for sharing your trip with us! I have enjoyed each entry, not missing a single one. I have a feeling this is the closest that I will get to China. It looks like y'all had a blast!

Soldiers
Yes, the warriors are all made of clay, the weapons made of bronze, the wood has disintegrated. It doesn't smell there since nothing left to smell. It was great being there though, totally amazing !

Beautiful scenery
Very pretty along the river. I love those pics. As far as the DAWGS, much better news than last week but suffice it to say we had more than a couple of moments of anxiety. Let's just say it goes in the win column and be done with it.

I like the animals
The animals were so cute!!! Sorry that you didn't get to "pet a panda". Yuk! Pig's noses?? Did you eat any of those? Getting ready to watch the Georgia game. Hopefully it turns out better than last week.

Chinese animal planet?
I will have to remind Grace to take a look at this blog. You did her proud. She is trying to go to Guatamala for Spring Break to work with monkeys. We Garrens here in Virginia have heard of the lesser Panda but then we live with a budding vet. Can't seem to bring ourselves to take back the latest cat so she may be here to stay. Pace yourselves so you have some energy to call and tell stories when you get home. Love you guys.

Did the needles work?
Well, Lamar will have much to say about the acupunture. I pictured the boat as this small Chinese Yacht (or maybe that's not the right word) -- got that completely wrong. It looks more like a Mississippi gambling boat. Anyhow, be curious to hear the Chinese perspective on the election. Here is is oddly peaceful and kinda joyous. I think everyone is proud to see that the color barrier could be broken in the highest office in the land. If nothing else, it is bound to have a positive impact on race relations in America. Plus, it's nice to have a President-elect who can speak the English language with some facility. We'll hope for the best.

Soldiers
Very cool... are the soldiers made of clay? How was the smell of the pits, like dirt? You are both having so much fun. Enjoy the rest of your trip. :-)
