After leaving Torres del Paine, and another day in Puerto Natales, we drove to Punta Arenas, Chile. Out of all the hostels we stayed at, the one in Punta Arenas was by far the coolest and most comfortable. The common area had lots of plants and great antique furniture. There was a little library with interesting books and great resources, and it was one of the few places where the internet was working most of the time. The showers were strong and hot, and they had down comforters. In Punta Arenas our destination was the penguin colonies. For most of the group this was a really cool experience, but for me since I had seen penguins in both Cape Town and the Galapagos, it wasn't that big of a deal. Furthermore, I was wimping out because
