Really great job on capturing Reno Really great job on capturing Reno and Los Angeles both, Toni! My answers might have diverged a bit, but that’s what I love about Reno – having lived here 8 years off and on. Sooooo much to see and do! Awesome piece!

Hi Bob. Thanks for your comment! It was about time we went on another trip. Not sure what will be up next. I'm glad you enjoyed New Zealand. It looks like your travels have been extensive and amazing (*jealous*). I hope you continue to enjoy the big wide world out there! :)
Makldives- truly a paradise Myself and wifey recently went to Maldives and its truly a paradise with green and blue waters. I would certainly recommend this Island to all before it gets submerged.
We were at Paradise resort an hour from the airport and it was so peaceful surrounded with green lagoon bordering with blue ocean. The submarine ride wa short and good.
Must visit place
I know who's house that is! The owner of Wilson sports company lives there. We visited him a few times and stayed in his guest house that has over 5,000sq feet. Breathtaking view from the widow's walk and the house looks even better from the front.
Are you coming any further south? Hiya,
Great to see your blogs and that you are having such a good time. Are you coming any further south this time? We'd love to try and meet up.
Loves, L
Hello! Thanks for the feedback - the blog is a mission right now, with so many places still left to write about, but I will get there :) All of this info is from memory. I'm a bit worried we have forgotten what we did later on in the trip, but I am sure we will get the gist of it down for you. Thanks for reading (or at least skim reading) :)
Christiania I enjoyed reading about walk thru Christiania. My husband and I are leaving Monday for Scandinavia. We have a day on our own in Copenhagen and we will definetly take a walk around Christiania and hope we get invited in to see a garden or we meet up with some interesting locals. Thanks for sharing.

Yay Eygpt Thanks for a great visit, sounds to be quite a civilized place to visit, hope there was none of that funny stuff in the pipe, did it change your hair colour Vaughan? think I liked your #4 over the top, the shaggy dog, John Denver look just doesn't do it. Good to hear that you took a bit more time to relax for this trip and had time to absorb the culture a little more. Thank you once again for my armchair/desk chair visit. Love Mum
Hi - thanks for stopping by!
Vaughan & I ventured on our first international trip (together) in 2005. We had the same idea as everyone else from NZ about making our way around the UK & Europe, but somehow found ourselves trapped in London and working for a while. Typical story! However, all was not lost, and we did actually make an effort to get out of the place when time and money allowed. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to travel to so many other countries that are right there on your doorstep. On our return to New Zealand, we had expected to set... full info
