Well, after being on buses three out of four nights in a row, i finally arrived in huacachina, peru. Im not really sure if i should call this a city, a town, or a street, but huacachina is basically a one road oasis five minutes from the town of Ica in southwestern peru. After arriving from Arequipa at about 6am, and literally getting dropped off on the side of a freeway, we took the first taxi we found to the hostel. Unfortunately, after pulling up to our first hostel choice, casa de arena, and knocking on the front door, it appeared that the hostel was full (though the next day we walked by it, and there seemed to be quite a few of empty rooms).
