close by... I have a sister (and her family) in Hobbs, N.M., Ginger Hudson;
another in Muleshoe, Tx., Greta Donaldson;
another in Littlefield Tx., Glenda Keeney, in case you need a refuge in any of those places.
Yikes... Yeah Megan! must have been really fun scooting on those flats, no obsticles. Alisha you are nuts going in that chamber, did you get nightmares last night? that is one gothic looking prison, wonder if it was in any scary movies.
Leah No, nightmares..I was pretty cool. You would have loved it. I am not getting much time on the computer this time around...Mason is hogging the computer every night.
Awesome!! Wow, really nice pictures! Crazy lockout for the folks, guess it adds to the adventure huh? Guess they will be taking the crowbar into the room from now on:-) Leroy has nice rays in the sky behind him, and I suppose Mason is sporting a Duck hawk? Thanks Alisha, we really enjoy your blogging!
Ted the Bird Murderer? What the... Sounds like you are really having a great time, well all of you but the calf and the bird murderer...need details on that one, also wish I could have seen the wild horse! How cool, have fun by the pool tomorrow girls:-)
Great Trippin' I just got through reading your entire blog to Pete (no more voice) and we were so entertained and thrilled for you all, really awesome pictures and stories! Pete said the ferry pics made him feel seasick, but wow they are huge.
hi just been browsing your travel blog here and it sounds like you,ve been having good time.
Had a laugh at your comment about look on the Customs officer's face when you told him you were headed to my town Courtenay. Anyway, i've read all your postings and have only one comment about the young men and drinking. Sorry about that, hope they weren't a real problem, but like the US of A we got lotsa genetic throwbacks too except usually we vote them into office!
Myself, I suffer from being a hermit, but traveled a great deal as a child, and when I was no longer tugged around by my parents I couldn't wait to put down some roots and really get to know a piece of land. I can recite my page of life from memory, so to speak.
Yeah! Ain't Butchart Gardens amazing? For sheer scenery your next visit will have to include the far west coast of the Island and North of Campbell River. My job sometimes take me to those places and even though I've been living on THE island for 40 years those locations never cease to blow my mind. If I was at home on one my own computer I would immediately subscribe to your blog just because I could travel virtually with you and indulge my hermit tendencies. Don't stop writing about your travels because a lot of people don't know anything beyond their front door and the digital age is just plain GRAND for that sort of thing. cheers, James.

I was there many, many, many years ago. Don't remember it at all. Thanks for the pics, would love to have gone with all of you.
