Hi there,I am 29 years old, I am an orthopedic surgeon, I've travelled around china for three years and learnt a lot about Chinese culture and life in china. As I learnt to speak Chinese fluently i was able to move along easily with Chinese friends and travel around China with much ease. I have been to many places in china such as Shanghai, beijing, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Changzhou, Yangzhou, Quzhou, shaoxing, xi'an, Inner mongolia, ningxia province, gansu province, fujian province, Anhui province, Shandong province and many interesting places.. I have crossed the two great rivers in china, the Yangtze and the yellow river.. I was just looking for details about Jogjakarta Indonesia(my plan for this year) and ran into this blog site. I love travelling and I felt reading other's travel experiences interesting, so here I am... to share my travel experiences and make new friends. I have never written a blog before as I had no time in my busy hospital schedule, but I have decided to spend some time writing about my travel experiences and I will try not to keep my blog empty..

I chose Maglev as I have never travelled in anything that’s faster than 140km/hour. Maglev station was in the airport complex with a sign board showing “33km in 8mins”, we bought the tickets 80RMB per person for single journey( airport bus was just 22RMB) and entered the train which was guarded by two tall Chinese officers. It was not quite a journey as the train reached the destination in just 8mins with a top speed of 484km/hr passing through the suburbs of shanghai filled with flyovers and broad roads. Longyang station was the final point for the maglev from where we had to take ... read more
