Well done Team Pittendrigh! I've had to put on a hat just so I can take it off to you. Excellent effort - you deserve to be proud of yourselves. Ths week I walked to the post office - not quite the same, though there is a rather high kerb to negotiate on the way, so I have some idea of how your legs must have felt at the end of the climb. Great views. Well worth the effort and a fantastic achievement.
What next?
your trek i have to say that the last blog about your trek bought more than a few tears to my eyes. i was probably a big ignorant about how big of a deal this was but i am not anymore. well done to both of you and of everything the two of you have been through, this is truly fantastic. going for tissues now!
Brave!! The school looks fantastic - looks like you having great time. Sorry didn't leave message for your birthday Wendy - went to post you a card!!!! Hope you had a great day. Lovely to keep up with what you are up to and you both look amazing (obviously agreeing with you). Take care Mxxx
Well that was fun I like that game - 'Match the photo to the caption'! I've spent ages trying to tie them up! Can we have answers on the next blog please?
sorry about the mix up with the photo labels! It was our first attempt at updating the blog from an internet cafe rather than from somewhere with wi fi! Will try harder next time! Hope we haven´t confused you all too much!!
dead dogs Enough sleepers to lay a railway line! Looks as if they have been treated to one or more of Wendy's stories about housing management in the good old days:-)
Update Hi Wendy - I have not looked at your blog for a few weeks, but you certainly seem to be enjoying Bolivia. I spoke with Ali last weekend, they will be in the UK next June for a wedding and he is trying to get a month back in Bolivia via UK, they really liked it and could easily settle there.
Only 12 weeks now before we set off to Aus for xmas and new year. Will go very quickly once 1st November and "Go Live" is here. I expect you have forgotten all about work and our re-branding.
Look forward to reading more "Tales of the Unexpected"

Catching up! Hi both, just been catching up on the blog and interestingly your comments about the floating islands are exactly the same as I've read up on before when I've looked at visiting the area - previous comments I've read even question as to whether the houses are actually lived in or whether they arrive an hour before the tourists - being out there did you get a feel for this? However even though it may be touristy it all looks amazing and I remain in complete jealous awe of your trip :-) Sorry to hear you've both been unwell - hoping you're now on the mend :-) lots of love to you both xx
Gracias What a fantastic journey you two are having and I\'m really enjoyed the photos of the condors, having seen \'that programme\' on the TV. I think you two should take up travelling full time as your blogs are fab. Look forward to hearing of further adventures and take care. Jo x
El Condor Pasa y mas Well all credit to you both, it certainly looks horrendous. Mind you the mules dont look a safer option, but I suppose they would have saved some calf pain! x Taffy
