What am I going to do with my lunchtimes now.... You're just going to have to go on another adventure and write another blog - I have nothing to read with my lunchtime salad now!
I expect you're settling into life here quicker than you would like, and now you've had your cheese and cider fix are keen to travel again!
Have fun choosing the next place as I'm sure you've the 'bug' now!
good to have you home ;-)
lots love xx
Now comes the very hard part to settle back into a daily routine ! Was good to see you today and you looked so well and relaxed. Have you thought about making a book of your year - Ali & Zoe have done a pictorial book naming it after their blog site Two Left Feet. Very good as a photo album. Take care - Jenny
Coo. Final blog. I'll need to buy some books now. A year to be proud of! Now to bring back a shed load of memories...and then track down some cider!!
Welcome home.
Last blog comment We know we still have two blogs to come when the muse strikes but I had to add one last comment. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us all we have enjoyed it. Love Mum aka Taffy
Can't believe it! How quickly has that year gone! Can't beleive you'll be home this time next week! I bet you can't either!
Hope you have a fab last few days and have a safe and easy journey home.

Olympic Torchbearer enters Brazil As always worth waiting for how are we going to manage without blogs??? The Olympic torchbeare needs to shift into a higher gear or she will be responsible for delaying said Olympic torch on its journey as she will be too slow. Love Taffy x
This reminds me of an average day in Croydon!
Looks like a fab time was had by all, with your recent samba lessons I'm imagining that you may be able to audition for next years carnival? Worth a shot surely!
Happy days :-)
photograph problems the more alert of my dear readers will have noticed duplication of some photographs. this appears to have been a technical fault and not a result of any drunken incompetency.
hic.
I like the scary outfits - yours and theirs. Looks like it was a fun event. Why don't we have the same in Bournemouth? But then again, it wouldn't be the same, would it? Not bored of wandering aimlessly and drinking cold beer yet then. Keep it up and have some fun for the rest of us who would like to be where you are now if they weren't so stuck to their sofa (not speaking personally of course, harrumph).
Dancing in the streets We are delighted that our very own correspondent has recovered sufficiently to give us a taste of Carnival which as always was very enjoyable, however either yesterdays drugs or todays alcholo intake , or probably local wifi not human error account for the duplicate photos? Well done. Taffy
water water everywhere WELL DONE AGAIN! Albert is still sleeping off his hangover from his daughter's wedding as I have now put two blog comments on and no sign of him! You see all it needs is a bit of application, your new journalistic friends have obviously spurred you on. Please . Well done Taffy x
High in da Andes As ever it was well worth waiting for and some lovely photos too. Get on with it! Cama seats look good except if in the middle of a river........ the suspense is terrible x Taffy
A-MA-ZON AND ON AND ON AND ON........... Looks incredible! Impossible to imagine what it is truely like, definitely need a visit to get the true Amazon experience!
Really enjoying reading the blog - makes interesting and amusing reading - often eating my lunch at work whilst catching up on your trip! It would make a great book!
Happy New Year - a bit late Hello - Yes it is a long time since I dipped into your blog and am amazed at what you been doing seeing some fantastic places. We spent Xmas and New Year in Oz with Ali & Zoe. Not the greatest summer weather over there for a good many years but warm enough for us. They both would really like to travel again or as Ali wants to live in Argentina. Real life means they need to work to get some money so have both started their own companies! Ali going in with 3 other people he used to work, company called Tribal, a managerial we- based site. Zoe with her own company POUCH-handmade, having done a government based scheme and works from home.
I shall be retiring in April from Spectrum but shall keep tracking you from home with much interest. Look forward to reading more and seeing some more photos. Jenny
Now that looks like a fun adventure, apart from the mossies, tarantula, fire ants and jumbo jet wasp. Not so sure about that toad either and as for Gordon spearing papaya....
No super-storms here, just a little frost. Think I'll spend the day in bed just to be on the safe side.
The only difficulty I can forsee is how to make a lunch break last 6 weeks, because I think it will take at least that long for you to tell us about the highlights of your long weekend in SA.
Keep on keeping on...and try to avoid those ants!
