Unique
Three tales-one name, reminding me of "Doves on the Waters",telling us three tales, which actually is only ONE. The affinity is definitely unique and a feast for one's senses...

I foundmyself almost drooling over the picturess, descriptions, foods tastedd and sights seen. Sounds likean absolutely wonderful trip. I have yet to hear of anyone diappointed by their NZ travels. Your blog renewed a hunger togoand see that started during our first year in Fiji in 1968! I look forward to the next installment.

Great Job!
Hi Folks! What a great job and simply cannot believe what everyone accomplished in such a short time, including the beautiful gardens. From the expressions on the faces of your family, your team completed a wonderful task! Thanks for the update and love to you both. Annette and Jon

Dear Judy and David, are very impressed by this project, building a home in such a short time ( it looks beautiful), and even getting a little garden started - reminding us of our "20days" construction work in Nova Scotia. Wish we could have participated in this interesting volunteer work. Greetings, hugs and congratulations. Heidi and Juergen

You Two are Quite Photogenic
Hi, Thanks so much for keeping us informed of your travels and for the good and probably tedious work you are doing. Your dedication to the betterment of others is inspiring. I liked your description of the dances and food too. And for being in a foreign and looks like hot climate you too are very put together. I tend to become deshabbile (sp?) after traveling awhile and long for my own kitchen. Have you encountered digestion problems in this region? You are right about the unimaginable past these folks have endured, makes our recent administration woes seem lightweight in comparison. Of course, the latest from my family hometown (New Orleans) is that the newly repaired levees are not going to withstand a Cat 2 hurricane and the new pumps (from an associate of Jeb Bush) have already failed. We don't take care of our citizens either. Marc and I miss seeing you both and hope to do so before long. Cheers to you. Jil Marie and Marc

I am inspired by the CVCD. The Sewing Project is wonderful. I want to hear more about the community leaders, the students and your adventures.

poor children
Hi Judy and David...love reading about your trip...am reading Sidney Poitier's "The Measure of a Man" in which he describes his life in extreme poverty as a young boy on Cat Island in The Bahamas where he was born and raised. He talked about the difference between being poor then and now...although he/they had nothing, there was always love, a solid family life and a secure natural way to view his world and learn...I wonder how this compares to the children in the villages that you have visited...as compared to todays poor growing up in frightening cities who can't fish in the rivers and oceans or find food in the forest. Hugs Janice

Thoughts from Eric and Lise
It's great to hear about the amazing work CVCD is doing -- and I thought the New York City public schools had problems. Thanks for the update! Keep writing!

snow
I am sitting in the middle of winter with snow on the ground here in Wisconsin. Reading the blog is a bit surreal! How incredible to think of you two in Phnom Penh. Thanks for blogging - it opens my world. I cannot wait to hear about the gallery opening... pictures?

Amazing!
Doesn't it drive you crazy yhat no one posts comments? Well, now you've got one. Among all our other topics to discuss, you'll have to give us a blog tutorial because yours looks exactly the way we envisioned ours looking.

Thank you
Hi, Thanks so much for letting us see and read about your great adventure. I cringed at the photo of the firewalker. Whilst I doubt Marc and I will get to Sri Lanka in this incarnation, I'm getting a great firsthand description. Your entries are offering solace on another front. I've broken my left ankle in a silly household mishap and am shuttered up for a few weeks on the top floor till I can put weight on the cast. Otherwise, all is well and we're doing rather fine this mild winter. Cheers.
