We headed to Tower of London this morning and we were first ones in to see the Crown Jewels, so that was cool This is well worth it, so much history-makes it easy to picture how tight and dark and dirty these castles had to be, what a hard life it was then, of course, more so for some. After the Tower, we walked across the Tower Bridge and walked along the Thames, on the south side of it, where Shakespeare's Globe is and a lovely church, Southwick. In all, we passed (by my count) 12 churches, 13 museums, 11 parks and gardens, and no fewer than 15 bridges. The newest of these is the Millennium Bridge.
