January 27th 2012

I will be spending 1 month at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai doing an Infectious Disease rotation. This experience, in addition to doing it for the "just for the hell of it" factor, will introduce me to pathology that I will never end up seeing at home in the United States. I aim to encounter conditions like leptospirosis, tertiary syphilis, multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, etc. along the way. I will be staying at the medical student hostel populated by other Seth GS Medical College students.
