It's my brother's first time in Bangkok. I took him to the famous Wat Phra Kaeo. Wat Phra Kaeo is officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattanasatsadaram or the temple of the Emerald Buddha, adjoins the Grand Palace on the common ground. When King Rama I came to the throne in 1782, he chose a plot of land on the east of Chao Phraya to found the new capital. The original occupants were relocated. It was consecrated in 1782, two years after King Rama I had ascended to the throne. We traveled by BTS Station from Nana to Saphan Taksin.
