Lol. Thom, yet another amazing night in an epic country. Out of everyone I've ever met in my life, you have probably met the most interesting people / done the most epic things. From the Mercedes CEO that needs to learn how to speak English, to almost falling into a well, having papaya thrown at you in broken english to drinking a beer in psychology class. Amazing. I just remembered taking a picture of Ulrich in the middle of class, and the flash going off. I'm still embarrassed.
Thom,
I've gotta say this is my favorite part of the entry:
Additionally, anything short of slinging Ho Chi Minh’s dead body into the passenger seat and riding around reciting lines from Apocalypse Now through a megaphone, Vietnamese policemen will never pull over riders of bicycles or electric bikes.
I just have this Weekend at Bernie's style image of o Chi Mihn rolling around on your electric bike and everyone looking at you like you're insane. EPIC. Merry Christmas in Vietnam.
Sweet Thom, epic to hear about your teaching activities. Sounds like things are going great. Glad to hear things are a success in the classroom. Hopefully you don't find anymore dark wells to almost fall off of in Vietnam like you did in Cambodia.
Convos with bus dude! The conversation with the bus guy totally reminded me of the quote book!!! Lot's of content, not really contected through with the thoughts!
Angkor Wat Tuk-Tuk A good hostel in Siem Riep, Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat is Rosi's Guesthouse, you will find it in hostelworld. But my real tip is to hire a Tuk-Tuk to travel around. We had a driver, I would really recommend! He knows the place, drives carefully and does suggestions without pushing too much and knows a lot about hostels and hotels in Siem Reap and near Angkor Wat. His name is Vebol Oung. You can reach him by phone +855 12539348 or mail veboloung(at)yahoo.com

EPIC. Thom. These travels and the two sets of tales I have read already are epic. LanguageCorps sounds like it would be right up your alley. Make sure Ole Sharky is teaching those girls a thing or two about the rights and wrongs of prostitution. I'll definitely keep reading. Best of luck on the journey.
