You win Okay so you win for story of the day. My day of nothingness really doesn't compare. I love that jungle is now spelled with a g... gotta love Thai computers. Safe travels.
Great travelogue Hi Scott! I love your comments and photos. Now I don't have to fly all the way to Thailand to experience it. Too bad you actually had to study in the process, but it definitely sounds like more fun than an on campus class. I can't wait to hear about your purchases! Jane
love da pics Where do you find time to enter all this stuff? And didn't you just have a midterm and now you're having a final? My, my we must be studying hard. But then this trip is an education in itself. You realize I'm just jealous. I want one of those $10 massages. It's going to be tough to come back to reality.
When's the next test? Scott,
Love the blog. This is fantastic. I feel like you are experienceing the same sort of trip that I did when Kyle and I went to Africa. Seeing these places is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you are right to take advantage of it. I'm curious to know how much room you have left over in your suitcase for all the wares you are buying. Stay safe.

sling maybe I need to start carrying Ryan like that old lady was carrying that little kid. Maybe it would help my back - he's so darn heavy!
I think it's so funny you keep asking for e-mails from us. Like you're not busy enough? Are you so used to being connected that you can't live without getting e-mail for 2 weeks?! ;)
I know I've heard "don't think, just buy" somewhere before... It sounds like you're still having a great time so I won't even burden you with a Cubs update. Looking forward to hearing about the return trip since I've heard elephants will be involved.
French Cuff Shirts I knew those cuff links would come in handy!!! Love the pictures and the stories. All is relativly quiet here. We are going to Lake Park Bistro tonight to celebrate Richard's birthday. Should be good.
Gracie seems to be coping without you. She headed immediately for Dick's lap on Sunday.
Have fun..... Perhaps the tailor's could come up with a raincoat!!
Love ya

I love the travel blog! Sounds like you're having a great time. As promised, your Chicago Cubs update (though I'm sure you can get the same info from the internet). The Cubs were smacked around by the Tigers this past weekend -- there is no other way to describe it -- and Prior was absolutely shelled in his return on Sunday. However, the Cubs looked pretty good last night beating the Indians. Same old story. Oh well.
So jealous Way to go kid. One minute sight seeing, the next shopping. Wasn't Wat Po amazing, to think about all those little Thai people hand crafting that entire scene on the feet. Too cool. Dianne and I will have the basket lady and jewelry lady info for you this week. Sorry you already have a test, damn school....
Stay safe.
Love
Anna
OMG - YOU'RE UNTUCKED!!! Scott, I truly hope you are checking these comments because I am just so amazed and impressed that you are walking around with your shirt untucked!!! That's HUGE! Do the people you are with realize that? I mean, it's really big news...earth-shattering almost. At first I was amazed at the prices that you were quoting for everything, but then I looked more closely at the photos and *pow* it hit me. It was like one of those "what's wrong with this picture" quizzes. Marvellous, just marvellous!
Anyway, glad that you're having fun and all is going well. Take care and keep sending updates!
Love the pants Too bad you only get to rent the pants. They'd go over so well in Chicago! Not much mention of classes-and to think you get credit for this?! Anyhow, sounds like a blast.
I'm currently working on my MBA at Loyola University Chicago, and have the opportunity of traveling abroad this summer to take an Emerging Markets Finance course in Thailand! Hopefully if all goes well, you will be able to read updates (and maybe even see pictures) from my experiences while I'm there. ... full info
