I'm missing being able to pick up the phone and talk with you and the kids too :/ You're the one I could share funny little tid-bits with :) But I'm ok as long as you all are ok and doing fine. This is your journey, there are things that are just for your edification. Embrace and learn from every enlightenment and continue to see the Quran and life in "colours!" Be Well, Be Safe and Be at Peace. My love, Your Mother <3 <3 <3

ASA, my sister. You are EXACTLY where you are supposed to be, alhumdulillah! I was very happy to read your posting today as I keep you and your family in my du'a's. Sounds like to BP must've been trained by the RI/DMV! Hang in there Shakirah. I love you for the sake of Allah SWA.
We finally found Al Jamel!!: Salaams my sister, I think I understand what you are expressing and I believe in my heart that these experiences are strengthening your deen and character. Don't apologize for being human and feel free to use this forum to express yourself. Every day that Allah (SWA) wakes us we are given an opportunity to choose to have a positive or a negative attitude which ultimately affects how we experience our trials and our blessings. Be well, stay strong, and remember that with every trial comes ease. May Allah (SWA) make it easier for you. I miss hearing your laughter in your messages. I continue to keep you and your family in my du'a's.

I'm really glad you seem to be excepting what you viewed as your plight. Really, the apt doesn't seem that bad especially since they put that washer in a provided space LOL I'm relieved LOL I hope you're stove and refrigerator are ones you will like also. hey A BALCONY off the master bedroom, C'mon that must be cool right?
Shakirah, everything is going to work out fine. Just think, you are in a place that you wished to be in, with halal almost everything! SUBHANALLAH, truly you are blessed, count these blessing and the rest will also work out...Be Safe, Be Well and Be at Peace...I Love You :) your mother
you are the first, the only, and might be the last one to ever receive a response from me. so cherish it. I love what you are doing and so do all the other sisters too. Keep up the good work, give your family love from me, and make dua everyday for continued success and ease while living there. By the way, you know I am at your umi because otherwise this would not be happening now.I love you. Iman
Mall contstuction view That is the view from my kitchen and living room/dining room. Lovely isnt it. I will post the views from my bedroom and kids room, its another building just like ours. I want Wendys view Pyramids...lol
mirror accessory that is not a mirror in the picture that is outside ou apartment in the hallway across from the elevators and that is a breaker box, lol
vents on the floor are for water We did Exactly that! We soaped up and scrubbed all the tile on walls and floors and rinsed it down with the istinja hose and shower head and down the drain it went. The tile had a lot of dust and grout on them. Dust from sand. grout from idiots who dont clean up after they do their work! But it was great being able to hose the place down. we still have some more to do though
wlls, floor, furnishings I have not gotten curtains yet, even though its temporary, whatever we use here will be moved into another apartment, IF AND WHEN we move and thats a HUGE if and when. because apartments are so hard to get here and your not allowed to own property. and it seems this (emirates) will be our new home. right now I am trying to get what we need and to organize well!
closet That is the only closet in the house. It is a linen closet outside the bathroom! The apartment is ok, now that I have excepted the fact that they are not going to give us a villa. It just living......I will take pictures. One picture speaks a thousand words.
My family and I are traveling to morrocco from the US to visit my in laws this summer and ultimately moving to Emirates I wanted to document our travels especially for our children ages 7 and 4. I also wanted to share my adventures with family and friends who are far away........ full info
