Looks Impressive Hi U 2, what progress you have made, and how excited you must be. It is a wonderful feeling to see something that you are going to live in being erected. Congratulations on such a good plan and I can't wait to see progress photos as you start on the inside.
Love to you both,
Peter
Hi Peter, great to hear from you and we hope you are well. Have you had any luck with selling your property? We had the plumber in today putting in all his pipes and the electrician is coming some time this week to do his work so things are starting inside the barn. The weather is really nice down here at present contrary to what Roger says about Tasmania. All the best. Love from Margaret and Trevor
Did you find a place with no flies? Good to hear about your latest adventures. Congratulations on finding a lovely block in Tassie, hope it all works out for you. We liked that area too.
Our property is 3 acres, so similiar size to yours, plenty of room to park our motorhome, and Chris loves his big shed. We have a lake with an island, so our old dinghy is getting some use too. At present we are enjoying the autumn colours as we have popular trees on 3 boundaries, and some liquid amber and swamp cyprus trees that are really beautiful. Our land has been well planted with lots of fruit trees too. We're loving living in the country, only 2 1/2 km to Matakana Village where we can get most things. It has a farmers market each Saturday, and even a cute picture theatre.
Enjoy your trip up to Brisbane.
Regards Chris and Lynne
Thanks for the great travel log. I,ve spent a fair amount of time at Brisbane, did a walk through one of the caves at Buchan, never again as tend to be claustrophobic. Spent time in Sale & Lakes Entrance. Lovely county.
Coral & I did a bus tour of Tasmania. Much cooler than the mainland.
I'm doing well. Have sold my duplex and plan on moving to Campbell River in May. Going to an assisted living care facility where will have my own apartment.
Will be closer to more of the family.
Take care. Love reading about your travels. Lots of love, Monica
Great writing! We really enjoyed reading your blog, and loved the stories of the furry creatures,
Have a great trip, and a fabulous Christmas.
Viv and Terry xx
Savannahlander Dear Margaret and Trevor
Thank you very much for your interessting blogs. I read it but I don't understand evertything. Anyway it is very lovely to hear from you. It is a long time ago, I written something for you, but I have never sent it because the writing was never ending.
We are very well. Now we have 6 weeks summer holiday and enjoy it very much. We have been 3 1/2 weeks in Florida. We were travelling around. It was wonderful. Also our children (Seraina is now 10 years old, Livia is 8 years old) enjoyed it.
You sent very beautiful photos from your country. Oh we'd like to travel to Australia again. But at the moment it is not possible. The flight would be to long for the children. To Florida it was 10 hours flight and it was enough for them. So we will go to Australia when our children are older. Can you send me one time also a actual photo from you? It would be so great. Thank you. I don't know how to send some photos from us with this blog. Sorry...
Heini is know working for scholl in his office (down stairs). So I spend a lot of time with my computer. Now we have only one week holiday left. Then the school is starting again (Seraina is coming in the 4th class, Livia is coming in the 2nd class). Heini is still teacher and I am also a teacher: I brief the childer swimming (for the school of Baar). Unfortunatelly our children don't have swimming-instruction at school. They don't know it at Steinhausen where we live. But Seraina and Livia can swim because we go often swimming and they are also at the swimming-club of Baar. But in Steinhausen are a lot of childer they don't know how to swim.
Now it is 22.15 I have to do other things and then I have to go to bed. I hope, you understood my english, which is very bad - I am so sorry. I never use it - only in Florida I have spoken some english words! What a pity!
I wish you a very nice time - enjoy your travelling. I wish you all the best.
A lot of greetings and best regards from Astrid (Switzerland)
You guys are doing it correctly - enjoy while you can. We enjoy your trip stories and the pics...
I just turned 70!!!! We had a wonderful great party with over 100 people and are still going strong. We still hope to see you somewhere in Australia (whenever you have some kind of a permanent place!!!) you sound like gypsies lately...Come and ski with us again. We love you 2.
Greetings from Utah, Connie and Glenn
Crows and golf balls! Hi Margaret and Trevor
Sorry to hear the news about Trevor's father. Deepest sympathy.
We were warned about crows getting golf balls accross the Nullabour, one particular hole the crows wait and swoop regularly.
Enjoyed your blog, we were at all those places last year - the damage must be amazing.
Cheers
Lynne and Chris
Having fun Hi trevor /Margaret, Great to receive your blog and to see you are living the life. I will have to stop reading your blogs as it makes me want to get out on the road again, which we must do asap. We will do a trip out west again and end up at the Boroma rally in late October, after that I will plan a much longer trip to get the "monkey off my back" No doubt you are seeing a different scene to what we saw on our last trip down the east coast, cyhclone Yasi was certainly a big blow.
Cheers for now and keep up those cards and letters.
Ted
We're jealous Hi guys,
It sounds like you are back enjoying the travel. We spent the weekend with Viv and Terry - and we thought about you both.
Things are cold and busy here. Our wedding went well, fabulous day and good fun (I think you already know that).
Keep safe, and enjoying life. Hugs, Shay and Dave.
Time is Flying Lovely to read what my dear friends are up to. Sounds as if you are having a most enjoyable time, whilst we back in Brissie are slaving away. Loved the picture of Trev meditating. Certainly looks as if it works !!! Looking forwards to reading about further north.
Love, Shona
How much cost this huge thing? Hi why you do not ship it to Thailand and come and visit us. Or fly in by plain.
I take down the office building and build for 2,5 Mio. SFR. a 4 story Condo.
I take a huge credit and sell all and hope to make a huge profit.
I made some 3D Studio Max renderings shall I send?
Love the Rotman's
Good to hear from you Hi Trevor and Margaret
Chris and I were just talking about you and wondering how you were getting on with the new rig. Your blog bought back memories as we visited all these places too. We still think Cania is one of the best places to stay. Good luck with the fishing.
We're not enjoying WINTER in NZ, and keep being told it's very mild so far! Too wet and cold for us.
Chris has almost finished doing up the house, we will probably put it on the market in the spring. Not sure where we will move to yet.
Keep enjoying your travels, we love reliving it with you.
Regards Lynne and Chris
