3rd may A day of trekking and more caving but knarlier. We travelled up in the national park in a pick up with a mat of hessian i think, with two others Phillip and Johanne from Strasbourg. Forty minutes driving up to 800 metres in altitude and then a 2 km walk to the village to meet our guides. The village population is 100 and more dogs!, we were told to wait because i think our guide was working somewhere else ,he arrived very friendly and enthusiastic. In the middle of nowhere this felt unerving, however after an issue of caving helmets we all felt better, until we saw the gouges then we realised it could be a rocky trip.
