Budgeting Basics I think you are such a natural teacher Sarah! It must be in your genes! Glad to see u got some ice cubes for your drink! A special treat to end your day!!

So Proud of You! Is it appropriate for a friend to make a parental sounding comment like that? But I'm just so very impressed. Many people talk about "someday" doing something like this. YOU are doing it! Please continue to keep blogging. Your impact is not only on those around you in Uganda. It is also on the rest of us that are experiencing your journey vicariously.
The First Day Exploring Thank you for taking us vicariously along with you on Sunday! Of course so many questions. Lol. Since you discovered it's a cash economy where you are. Is there a maximum or minimum withdrawal at the ATM? And do we refer to Namulanda as a village? I'm sure your next post will detail how you will be volunteering. But it seems a main focus is the RWO Shelter for the girls. Is that located in Kitala? Have a good week! Sorry I posted a link with my last comment - that's a blog no-no. Blogging is a learning curve for me too.
Very interesting & thanks for sharing. I’m so thankful you made it safely… and seems like Hope is so kind! Looking forward to seeing more that you post!
Smiles on Arrival What enthusiastic first comments as you touched down in Uganda! Now a day to acclimate and explore?
No doubt you will be trying the local language....Here's a pocket guide.

Glad you made it! It’s enlightening to read the disparity in wages and what the government is like there. I look forward to learning more through your adventures.
